Polaroid Special Edition 50th Anniversary Sun 600 SE - refreshed, works great, with warranty

Polaroid produced a few special event cameras. They have the same features as their regular cameras but came with unique labeling and coloring. This is one of the two designs Polaroid made to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. It has Anniversary labeling on the panel next to the flash, a gold face and gold lettering on the print exit (Sun 600 SE). I have fully disassembled the camera, cleaned, tested, adjusted and then did a final check of all features upon assembly. A fun camera for a collector, but also ready to get out and take pictures with.

This camera creates either Color or Black-and-White prints depending on the film cartridge you use. New Color film is available from Polaroid Originals, this camera uses the type 600 option they offer.

Opening the camera reveals its lens, flash, and light/dark adjustment slider. I cleaned the lenses and viewfinder, cleared out the internal workings of any vintage dust, updated worn parts as needed and cleaned the rollers. The camera includes a Polaroid factory frog's tongue.

This Polaroid camera has a indicator on top for when the flash is charging and another when the flash is charged. The battery for the flash is built into the film cartridge so there is no worry about leaking batteries. There is a second shutter button also that will allow you to take a picture without the flash - nice for those times there is a very reflective surface.

The rubber of the view finder eye sight and the original adjustable neck strap are both in nice condition too. A fun camera that is ready to use, or show on your display shelf.
