Polaroid Original Red CoolCam 600 Camera with Close Up - Tested, Repaired, Cleaned, now ready for fun

Sometime, you just want a classic the way it was originally. Keep it simple and enjoy taking pictures.

This Red Original Coolcam has some minor wear on the red face that you can see in the photos.

There is a limited version of this camera that came with a close up lens, the face on this camera did not but has the areas to support it so I added a close up lens assembly from another Sun Polaroid. The close up lens lets you get as close as two feet away from your subject.

The Cool Cam line from Polaroid is a Sun with factory colorful areas. For this version, the 'Cool Cam' text is on the back and next to the flash, as well the Red face are all part of this Polaroid. Also, a bright red neck strap, all original. I have disassembled this camera, tested and replaced as needed internal components, cleaned inside and out, assembled, then tested again.

This camera creates either Color or Black-and-White prints depending on the film cartridge you use. Seen next to the camera is a photo I just took with this camera. Film (600 style) for the Cool Cam 600 is available through Polaroid Originals in a wide variety of frame designs (both in Color and Black and White prints).

The Cool Cam 600 Polaroid Camera takes photos of things 4 feet or further away, with a nice automatic fill flash. On top of the camera is indicators to show when the flash is charging and another for when charged/ready. The power for the flash comes from the battery in the film cartridge so there is no issues with leaking batteries.

This model of the Polaroid 600 lets you take a photo without the flash too via a dual shutter button. There is a slider on the front of the camera to get a better shot when the background of the photographed area is over bright or over dark.

I have posted the manual for the Sun/Spirit 600 Polaroids on my site: http://www.upcycledclassic.com/manuals/

Repair/Replace 6 month warranty.
I do not offer a refund on any of the cameras I sell. For the Polaroid cameras, I do offer to repair or replace a camera if it has issues within 6 months from purchase date. While I do a final test after assembling the camera by taking actual print photos, these are vintage cameras so little parts can fail after a short time. When this happens, please contact me so I know about the issue, then ship the camera to me. As long as the camera only shows normal wear, no abuse or changes to the camera from how I shipped it, I will either repair the camera or replace it at no charge to you. I will also pay to ship the camera back to you.
