Blue Polaroid Express Camera With Close Up and Flash Built In

$77.00

When someone sees me with a Polaroid picture, they want to touch and hold the print, remembering the instant camera their family had. The one that captured the family moments many years ago.

This Polaroid Express is a great way to jump into Instant Photography affordably. The camera produces color or black-and-white prints depending on which film cartridge you use. Next to the camera is a print that came out of this camera using new color film from The Impossible Project.

While extremely well designed, the earlier Polaroid cameras where very square cornered. This dark blue 600 Express model is an all-in-one, so snapping a photo didn't take any extra attachments or set up time. A slider below the lens allows to adjust a print to be a bit lighter or darker to help get a better print sunny or dark days.

The round cornered camera pops open easily when it's time to shoot a photo. Once open, the flash automatically charges quickly with a Green indicator on the outside of the camera showing when ready. The flash is powered via a battery film cartridge so there is no issues with leaking batteries. New film cartridges are available from The Impossible Project.

Along with the built in Flash is a Close Up feature. Just move the lens into place via the slider on the front of the camera for times you want to photograph things between 2 feet and 4 feet away.

On the outside of this One Step Express is a built in adjustable handle. With 'Polaroid' engraved on it, the handle and rubber view finder are in great shape.

The rollers, viewfinder and lenses have all been cleaned. I shot photos with the camera as a final test, one of which is show next to the camera. The yellow shutter button is factory original from Polaroid.

I have posted the manual for this Polaroid on my site: http://www.upcycledclassic.com/manuals/
