Upcycled Yellow and Red Polaroid OneStep Camera With Built In Flash And Close Up Lens

This camera creates both Color and Black-and-White instant prints depending on the film cartridge you use. Next to the camera is a photo I just took with this camera using New Black-and-White Film from The Impossible Project.

While extremely well designed, the earlier Polaroid cameras where very square cornered. That wasn't the case with the One Step 600 'Express' models. This hunter green Express 600 is an all-in-one, so snapping a photo doesn't require any extra attachments or set up time. The Yellow and Red is a bit of fun upcycling I did while I had the camera apart.

The nicely rounded corners of this camera and built in adjustable side handle makes it fun to take with you. The flash has a charged green indicator on top of the camera. The battery in the film cartridge powers both the camera motors and the flash. This mean that there is no batteries to buy or have battery leaking issues.

There is a slider for close up shots (yes, a close up lens is built in) and the an adjuster if the area behind your subject is over dark or bright.

The rollers, viewfinder and lenses have all been cleaned as well the internal functions have been tested. New film for the camera is available from The Impossible Project, this camera uses the 600 Style.
