Upcycled Blue and Purple Polaroid Sun 600 OneStep - Cleaned and Tested

This camera creates either Color or Black-and-White prints depending on the film cartridge you use. Next to the camera is a print I just shot with this camera using New Color Impossible Project film.

This is a Sun 600 Polaroid Camera, cleaned, tested and upcylced with fun Blue and Purple. The power for the built in flash comes from the battery in the film cartridge so there is no issues with leaking batteries. On top of the camera is two flash indicators, one for charging and the other for charged/ready.

Film (600 style) for the Sun 600 is available through The Impossible Project in a wide variety of frame designs both in Color and Black-and-White prints.

This Polaroid is in nice shape, with an original neck strap and rubber view finder eye piece. I cleaned the rollers, lenses, and cleaned out the vintage dust from inside and tested the parts inside, then shot photos. This model of the Polaroid 600 series lets you take a photo without the flash too via a dual shutter button. There is a slider on the front of the camera to get a better shot when the background of the photographed area is over bright or over dark.

The Upcycled Blue and Purple is a bit of fun I added when I had the camera apart for testing and repair.
